This service helps in keeping the engines efficient for the IAF fleet of C-17 Globemaster Aircraft and can also be applied effectively to civil aircrafts in the country.

"Per Smedegaard, a Danish native, is a Licensed Aircraft Engineer with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. He possesses extensive international experience in the civil and defense sectors, working with Aircraft OEMs, MROs, Airlines, and Aerospace manufacturing units. Throughout his career, he has held senior international executive positions, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a remarkable track record in the Aerospace and Defense industry. With over 28 years of management experience, he has been responsible for the P&L of business entities with a value exceeding 200 million Euros.
Per brings a unique combination of leadership, inspiration, operational expertise, technical knowledge, and a profound passion for Aerospace and Defense Product Design and Manufacturing to Defsys. Previously, Per served as the Regional CEO East Asia for Indocopters Pvt. Ltd., overseeing operations across 10 locations in East Asia. Prior to that, he held positions such as Managing Director at SILK-Consulting, Vice President Engineering and Production at Airberlin Technik GmbH, Director of Business Development at Jet Engineering Technical Services Ltd (UK), and Chief Executive Officer at RUAG Aerospace Services GmbH. He also gained valuable managerial experience at SUN-AIR of Scandinavia, Danish Aerotech, Escon Electronic, and Herning Galvanisering A/S, working in various engineering and operations roles. Per began his career in 1994 at Danish Aerotech. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark, and has furthered his education with an additional degree in Aerospace Engineering from City University (GB). Furthermore, Per is a Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified under EASA PART 66 AML B1, B2 & C."

He has served us as General Manager at Defsys from November 2013 till May 2015 supporting GSE/GHE and TTGE feasibility and facility planning studies.
Between 2015-2022, he was working in the Commercial Aviation Business with Sanfran Aircraft Engines, supporting different customers in India and Nepal.
